CalHEERS 17.2 Certificate Upload February 2017

Release Note: Verification Documents can now be uploaded to the Documents & Correspondence folio regardless of eligibility or case status.

Previously, documents could only be uploaded on the Documents and Correspondence folio if the example was in a Conditionally Eligible status but. At present, documents can exist uploaded on the Documents and Correspondence page regardless of eligibility or example status (even if instance is terminated).

There are also two new buttons on the Documents and Correspondence page: Upload New Document and Link to ECM Certificate. The 'Link to ECM Certificate' is used to link Documents mailed or faxed in by the consumer to the Covered California back office. Certified enrollers should access the 'Upload New Certificate' link to adhere documents to the consumer's case.

Covered California consumers can now upload documents through the Documents and Correspondence page of the Summary section.

As of November 2014, Covered California customer service representatives acknowledged that in that location was a known issue with uploading documents. For Some consumers and agents the button to commencement and upload is not present. For other people the organisation indicates that the file type is non acceptable. New document upload procedure

On the Manage Verifications page click on Submit Verification .
Scroll downward to discover the Required Documents .
Click on the Upload link.
On the adjacent screen select Upload Documents .
Select document category, type and certificate name from Scan, click Upload .
If you become a File blazon not supported fault message.
In some documents you will need to change the file extension from all uppercase letters, such as JPG, to lower case letters like jpg. Y'all can do this from your computers file and folder application. Changing the file extension doesn't always concord. I had to alter the extension several different ways in my Windows Explorer until the computer really changed the extension to lower case letters.
Navigate Back to Submit Verification page.
Leave a required description in the Comments department, click Submit .

Select Manage Verifications from Actions menu to upload documents.

From Manage Verification screen, click on Submit Verification.

Scroll down the Required Documents to notice documents Covered California wants, click upload.

After selecting Upload from the Required Documents, click Upload Certificate on next screen.

Drib downwards menus let you select Category, Blazon and and then scan figurer for right document.

File type not supported may indicated a file extension mismatch.

Try renaming file from all caps extension to all lower example messages.

Type in a required description of all the file existence uploaded and their purpose, click submit.

The designers of the Covered California CalHEERS online enrollment system were hoping to reduce or eliminate paper by allowing requested documents to be uploaded for verification.
